Privacy Policy

Our Commitment

Lensr is built on trust. We are committed to protecting the privacy of the agencies, creators, and brands who use our platform. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

We will never sell your data. We will never share your data without your express permission.

Data We Collect

  • Account information: Name, email address, and password when you sign up.
  • Social platform data: Metrics from platforms you connect, collected through official APIs with your authorization. Specifically:
    • Instagram: Follower count, reach, impressions, engagement metrics (likes, comments), audience demographics (age, gender, country), and top post metadata.
    • TikTok: Follower count, video view counts, engagement metrics (likes, comments, shares), video metadata (title, post date, cover image URL, share URL), and audience demographics (age, gender, country distribution).
    • YouTube: Subscriber count, video view counts, estimated watch time, engagement metrics (likes, comments, shares), video metadata (title, publish date, thumbnail URL), and audience demographics (country, age range, gender distribution) via the YouTube Analytics API.

We collect only aggregated metrics and metadata. We do not download, store, or cache any video content, images, or audio files from connected platforms.

  • Usage data: How you interact with Lensr (pages visited, features used) to improve the product.
  • Agency relationships: Access permissions between agencies and creators, managed with explicit consent from both parties.

How We Use Your Data

  • To provide and maintain the Lensr service.
  • To generate analytics reports and insights based on your connected platforms.
  • To manage agency-creator access and collaboration.
  • To communicate with you about your account, service updates, and support.
  • To improve, personalize, and develop new features.

We do not use your data to train artificial intelligence or machine learning models. Your social platform data is used solely to generate analytics reports and is never processed for algorithmic training, profiling, or automated decision-making purposes.

Data Security

All private data is encrypted at rest and in transit. We use industry-standard security measures including TLS encryption, secure credential storage, and regular security audits. Platform API tokens are encrypted and stored securely, with automatic token refresh to minimize exposure.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We only share data in the following circumstances:

  • With your permission: When you explicitly grant an agency access to your creator profile, or when you share a report via a public link.
  • Service providers: With trusted infrastructure providers (e.g., cloud hosting) necessary to operate the service, bound by strict confidentiality agreements.
  • Legal requirements: When required by law, regulation, or valid legal process.

Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law. Aggregated, anonymized data may be retained for analytics purposes.

When you disconnect a social platform or when a platform notifies us of a deauthorization or data deletion request, we immediately delete all stored metrics and metadata for that platform connection. Token revocation is performed automatically to ensure no further data access is possible. All platform data deletion is completed within 30 days of the request.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate data.
  • Request deletion of your account and data.
  • Revoke agency access to your creator profile at any time.
  • Disconnect social platforms and remove associated data.

How to Revoke Platform Access

You can disconnect any platform at any time from your Lensr dashboard. Additionally, you can revoke access directly from each platform:

  • TikTok: Open TikTok → Profile → Menu → Settings and privacy → Security and permissions → Manage app permissions → Remove Lensr.
  • Instagram: Open Instagram → Settings → Security → Apps and websites → Active → Remove Lensr.
  • YouTube: Go to Google Account → Security → Third-party apps with account access → Remove Lensr.

When access is revoked from any platform, we automatically delete all stored data for that connection and revoke our access tokens.
